Hi, I’m Maddy, the human behind Short Tail Studio, and this is Gus, my cocker spaniel, CEO, quality control manager and the inspiration behind it all.

Short Tail Studio started with my love for creating, dogs and making things that feel a little more personal. I create fun pieces featuring the pets you love most, because I fully believe they deserve to be on everything.

When I’m not creating, you can usually find me hanging out with Gus, taking way too many pictures of him or working on my next craft project. Gus mostly contributes by supervising, demanding snacks and reminding me exactly why I started a pet-inspired business in the first place.

Everything at Short Tail Studio is made with lots of love, a little chaos and Gus’s approval.
